Side Channel Pumps
Sealless With Magnetic Coupling
Self-priming side channel pumps are used for pumping aggressive and mechanically clean liquids, especially for small flows and high heads. Versions are available that offer advantages particularly in unfavorable suction conditions or low suction heads. Depending on the application, different materials and shaft seal designs are available. Magnetic coupling drive is available as well.
Due to the side channel stage, side channel pumps are capable of handling gaseous or vaporous (50 %) fluids, including low boiling point fluids such as LPG. Side channel pumps are insensitive to cavitation with fluctuating vapor pressure.

Self-Priming Side Channel Pumps
Precision Applications & Demanding Heads
Self-priming side channel pumps are extremely versatile and ideal for low flow, high head applications. This makes them an efficient solution in a variety of industries. Their ability to move liquids at low flow rates over long distances makes them particularly attractive for precise ingredient metering. In water treatment, especially in regions with low water pressure, these pumps can be used to move water over large elevation changes while operating efficiently. Self-priming side-channel pumps offer the flexibility and efficiency needed to succeed in low-flow, high-head applications, helping to optimize key industrial processes.
Magnetic Couplings
Safe & Efficient Pumping Without Leakage
The use of magnetic couplings in self-priming side channel pumps is a groundbreaking feature that enables efficient and safe pumping. By eliminating conventional shaft seals, the risk of leakage is drastically reduced. This is especially important in applications involving aggressive or mechanically pure fluids. The magnetic couplings provide reliable torque transmission without compromising the integrity of the pump. This ensures that the pumps can operate accurately and continuously even in demanding environments.
